Sorry about this. You'd think it would be an easy fix –*we work with a separate company that operates as a department within Future. We have to put in a request to get these things fixed by them. I will keep chasing it up and let you know when we make progress.

That explains a few things. I am currently doing the same thing, working at a place where I technically work for someone else. There are issues with such a set up.

For some reason the replies box on all images in the general photos section of the gallery are no longer visible , I don't know if it's just me or the site as all the other sections of the gallery are fine .

A guess would be they've been turned off for some reason. Apart from that I haven't a clue. Sorry.

Perhaps when they get back after the bank holiday they can turn it back on or sort out the fault what ever it might be .

Yes I guess they will.

I can't think it's a fault in the system, but then I wouldn't have thought they would be daft enough to turn it off without telling anyone. Especially the moderators who have to come up with answers to these questions.
