CHAT - Weekend Competition 9-11th December

Your challenge this weekend is to produce an image of "The smaller things in life".

A lot of the smaller things in life go unnoticed by us, and as a photographer, you are perhaps obliged to find those smaller things in life and appreciate them.

What are these things?
A key that opens the door to your home, car, office, etc., a screw that holds a table together, a thread that holds a dress together, a bulb that lights up our lives, a socket that we connect our television to, the pen with which we sometimes take life-changing decisions, are all the smaller things in life we tend to take for granted and overlook.

These items are all around you, all you have to do is know where to look.

Your end picture can take on any format and does not need to be macro.

Any amount of PPing is allowed.

Hope this gets the grey matter thinking.

Good luck

OOO, nice theme, especially for those who won't be venturing far this weekend due to adverse weather!

Yep,
Thought about the weather before setting the theme to give everyone a chance of producing a photograph in the dry.
Hope that it gets a good response as it offers a large field to choose from if you put your mind to it.

Great theme Jeff.

Only thing is when I told my wife the theme title she started giggling and smirking like a teenager, I really don't know what she was thinking

Dave,
Perhaps it will be macro for you then, just to fill the frame.
