D7000

Hi, I upgraded from my D80 in the early days of the D7000. Learnt a lot about it and it's great features, but also its foibles and idiosynchracies! Auto-ISO and flash for example, U1/U2 saving and loading - and the feedback I had from Nikon on the design of U1/U2, LiveView on Sigma lenses not working and quite a bit more. Much of this is now posted on my web site; www.everythingd7000.co.uk in an attempt to share this knowledge.

It's a great DSLR, capable of very sharp photos. Need pro level lens though to get the best from it's Auto-focus.

Martin

for digital an oldie but a goodie d-100, sometimes a coolpix L-22. for film, i run the gamut from a f , fe, n-55,n-75, n-90, or n-90s. I have a nikon obsession. would buy nikon breakfast cereal if they made it. surgar rosted flakes shaped like a d-800. there is an idea!

D70, which I bought new in 2004, I was going to upgrade to the D80 but never got round to it, but I have just added a D90 to the gadget bag, still have a F80 again bought new when they were first released, sadly that is now been taken out of the gadget bag an boxed up to make room for the D90 ....

Lens wise, I have the 18-70 DX, 28-105 and 55-300 VR

Got a Nikon D3100 just over 12 months ago, did use a Sony a200 before that wish I'd paid the extra £50 for the Nikon but just couldn't decide if I could afford it at the time
