Field of Remembrance 3

Remembrance Day 11.11.11

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Very poignant images for this time of the year .

Have you tried a lower angle with a very shallow depth of field to isolate a single cross towards the center of the shot . Just a thought .

have just read the poem but we need to remember its not just about ww1 its about every soldier in every conflict who has served their country proud

heres a little poem i wrote:
the afghan heroes

you gave your lives to fight against terrorism
showing your feits of heroism
we have lost many lives to the cause
fighting for freedom in a country far away
keeping the enemy from going astray

out in the desert down we fell
one things for sure we're free from that hell
down from the sky came the poppies
we'll never forget the grief and the pain
of all the families whos loved ones are slain

we are the british you make us feel proud
if we could see you again we'd tell you aloud
from up in the sky you look down on this great land of ours
lest we forget we hear said in sorrow
but if we could we'd come home tomorrow!!!!!!
