Nikon N1

Anyone else got one yet. My V1 came about a week ago with the 10-30 & 30- 110mm lenses. Still testing it. Quite pleased, I think, for casual stuff when you don't want to lug the DSLR. Shame the main manual is on a CD.
Will wait and see if first impressions last.

Still mucking about with it. Taken about 300 shots. Battery life is excellent. Haven't tried Movie or some of the more exotic modes on it yet. But variations on PASM modes aren't far short of my D3s. ISO to 3200 is very acceptable. But obviously the sensor size means there are aome compromises. Notice since my Pre Order model showed up WEX have already reduced the price by a 100 sobs. Such is life. Further reports from the N1 front to follow. Just tried uploading pix to here but fell foul of the 512Kb limit per shot. Will need to resize and try again.

It hasn't according to the info, "We have a very generous 5MB file limit on PhotoRadar, and we only allow jpgs to be uploaded here."

Unless they've changed it, and not told anyone by editing the text.
