I'm in with this after a hectic weekend of football and dinner parties.
Don't ask if we beat Leeds!

Pea24 Thank you!!! I was on the verge of giving up then, or throwing the laptop through the window! I do hope the new forum will have an easier uploading system

Anyway I am in with this. Old postcards my great grandfather sent two of them to his daughter [my grandmother] whilst he was serving in France during WW1. The third postcard was a photo of my grandmother at her dance class which was, in turn, sent out to him at the front.

I would have shown the messages on them but they were written in pencil and are now too faded to show well in a photograph, they are very sweet.

I am going to change my entry, as my hubby said the tree stump was boring!!! He preferred this as it had more 'character' and reminded him of an elephant, which I can also see myself too.

I'm not really into football, but, yes, when they play like they do at the moment, you can't help but notice!

Up The Clarets! (Maybe it helps if they get a bit of support from down under.)

My Meike ring flash/light ring may be cheap and cheerful but by jove, it does the job. It works mounted to the front of the lens and controlled by a control box attached to the hotshoe. I can increase/decrease the light intensity and the connecting lead is long enough for me to have the ring held in any position, as in this shot I had the ring held to the right.
