Presented.

No, not to me but my uncle from when children used to go to Sunday school. The book was Pilgrims Progress by John Bunyan.

I have 4 photos to choose from for an entry. I really can't decide though which one to opt for. Spent most of a very warm and sunny (for November in North East England) morning in the local cemetary, where everything was old. Things were just jumping out at me, shouting 'take a shot, take a shot'. There were old gravestones, old trees, old wrought iron fences, old statues, old churches, old dog walkers, old leaves, old flowers......I was exhausted by I had walked home.

I didn't realise what a peaceful, beautiful, calming and tranquil place the cemetary was, and how many photo opportunities there are there.

Hope, whatever photo I choose, I'm not a nillie this week!

A whole bus (single decker) can disappear in my blind spot, I simply do not see it at first glance; I constantly have to scan, scan and scan again to see 'properly.' Thank goodness the scanning goes without me even noticing it. Both eyes together, combine with my brain and thus I can see reasonably well. I don't have too many problems and living where I live, I do not really need a car. Thank goodness!

It makes visual things like typing, or photo editing rather slow though and as I'm taking loads of pictures, I run out of time and this is one of the reasons I have to pull out of the comp when I'm busy with other things.

Anyway, good luck to everyone and a great weekend!

Reinardina If you hadn't told us we would never known how bad your eyes were as your pictures are always sharp in focus.

This one I am entering is an old Pump House which served Craigends House which sadly no longer exists. I have not been here for many years but gives me fond memories of my dog Nehemiah in her early years when we went there regularly before going up the mountains.

Old Pump House.

Thank you for your kind words Jim.

I can see details well enough if I have them right (very close) in front of my eyes. So I can see on my LCD screen if a picture is in focus. I have learnt at my course however, that I cannot use a DSLR on manual, as I simply cannot use the viewfinder. Not to focus anyway.

Happy with my bridge camera though, and I don't really stop to think about the things I cannot do. (Not often anyway.)

Off out to try and find something old this morning, or at least something that I can make look old. Going to Bath so should be able to capture something Roman or the like.
Day is grey so not holding out much hope of a decent shot, I expect it will be coffee, brunch, then back home.
