wind on

Just been watching channel 5 with stunning pictures. Tomorrow there will be hundreds of learners complainng that their digital cameras do not make a wind on noise.

Just one of the stupid words of the English language. Pity you do not have the nouse to read it the correct way. It is the verb to wind as in winding a watch.
