Buzzard

Now I know this might not be in the same league as some of the fantastic shots from photographers like Carlos and Cathus but I was so chuffed to capture this image of a Buzzard rather than the silhouetted speck in the distance that I usually end up with .

Thanks for your time .

Mark

Well done on a great shot.
I wonder what else is in that tree?

Thank you very much Oldboy

This shot should answer your question

It's one of about one to two hundred Crows or Rooks ( never can tell the difference ) that chased and mobbed this poor old Buzzard until it was out of sight .

Thanks again for your time .

Mark

Yes, Crows do that quite often. I've even seen a Buzzard turn on it's back and put it's claws out to scare the Crow off.

Nice shot Mark. Well timed and you did well to capture the bird between the two trees...

Now that's a shot I would love to get .

Thanks kurienkoshy , I wish I could take full credit for it but lets just say thank goodness for a 4.5 / sec frame rate
