Just to say Hi! from a newbie!

Hi, New to the forum so just thought I would introduce myself!

Although I don't consider myself a complete 'Newbie' as I used to be a keen amateur photographer way back in the late 70's (Nikon F1 and F2) that shows how old I am

Just purchased my first DSLR yesterday Nikon D3100 kit and thought it would be a good idea to join the forum and be able to chat to you experienced guys.

Welcome to the Forum jay-cee! I'm a Canon user so can't throw much into the mix about your new camera. There are loads of Nikon users on here who will be delighted to wax lyrical about them. 8-)

Hi Jay-cee and welcome. I am a Nikon user and there are plenty of others around here so if you have any questions, fire away.

Hi Jay-Cee. Welcome to the forum. You're not alone, I predate you with a Nikon S2 before graduating to an F.
It's a big transition to digital, but ultimately rewarding. Ask away.
