I hope the Magazine does not just cater for the beginner, but will provide techniques for the more advanced user also.

Most magazines regurgitate beginner content a lot, they even share the same articles at different times if the mags belong to the same publisher.

There are tons of Mags catering for the beginner, which is great, but a lot of us have moved on a bit and I would like to get some more advanced stuff from the pros, if possible.

Having a dedicated mag for Nikon is a great idea, as long as all levels are catered for.

Also having half the magazine dedicated to Ads is a turn off.

So hopefully this will be a new refreshing magazine.

Hi Folks, Footski here. Found this new site and forum recently and I am really looking forward to it getting going for real. Now trying to persuade my good lady that a subscription to the mag would make a great Xmas present!!

Check the confirmation that they sent you and query it if necessary. As I have stated, they confirmed to me that I will be paying quarterly subscriptions bur it is just as well to flag it up. They put mine down to admin error.

Question Heeelp!

Sorry to ask this question here as it probably doesn't fit in. I bought my copy of Nphoto today, played the DVD and then could not find anywhere to end it. The escape button failed to sort it out as it normally does.
Can anybody help, Chris George invited me to email him direct in the cover of the magazine, however, I couldn't find his email address.
Nice to see newbies on this site and just a bit sad to also see some that were born with a camera in their hand and knew it all from the start.
I hope that this forum is an open friendly one that promotes not only the joy of photography, but also the joy of owning a Nikon!
Love the mag

Just bought the mag today and signed up to the forum, i'll give the mag ago for a couple of issues, and see what happens on the forum, like the idea of a Nikon only mag lets hope it proves to be worthwhile.

I see the mag cotains a lens test chapter. Its a case of one mans meat is another mans poison. The mag gives an excellent write up on the nikon 55-300.(they would do that wouldn`t they) I remember a few months back this lens was reviewed in another mag. It got an average mark.

You are right there I have bought a Tamron 70-300 with VC and I hope its a good lens, only time will tell it states in the review it is soft at 300mm, it is down to the user to get the best out of his or her equipment, certainly funny 3rd party manufacturers will not come top.
