New camera advice please

I currently have a Nikon D3000 which i picked up second hand a few years ago to give me an introduction into photography. Looking to invest in a better camera, but cant spend thousands on a top Nikon. Any suggestion what should be my next purchase (ideally up to about £1500)

£1500 is a very healthy budget for a camera body , the D7000 is about £800 the new D3200 is about £560 it all depends on what you are after and if you need any new lenses because that is where you can spend a fortune .

Could you let us know some more about what type of photography you're into and if you need new lenses in with you’re budget .

Thanks for reply. Don't have a specific area of interest yet, but mainly night landscapes and wildlife. I have two lenses for my D3000 that I will be keeping - a 18-200mm and a 70-300mm.
Looking for a camera that can work at high iso settings and faster continuos shooting

My advice would be to take a look at the D7000 , it's a massive step up from the 3000 and will take some getting used to but it will do all you need it to do with ease and you will have founds left over to buy yourself a nice wide angle lens for your landscapes .

It's worth considering a second hand body, (there are some good ones out there) and maybe putting the left over cash towards a nice lens.
D300s for example?
