Question Photoshop CS3 + Kodak ESP 5200

All,

I am after a little help.

Does anyone have some reccomended setting for printing from PS for this Kodak Printer?

I have tried lots of different ways and setup but I am still getting blocky dull photos when I try and print them.

I use a Cannon EOS 1100D and the photos look really nice on the PC. Just not when I print them.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Si

In most cases, when people get dark prints it's because their monitor is too bright and they're compensating by darkening the picture. Really, only a fully calibrated monitor, in conjunction with the correct printer driver and paper profile, will give an accurate print.

But tell us more.... you've installed the correct printer driver and selected it while printing? You've tried darkening the screen and making sure the print looks good on it? You've selected the right paper in the print dialog?
