avatar issues

hi, firstly apologies if this is covered elsewhere but i am finding the forums so ery difficult to navigate at the moment.. i managed to get an avatar for my personal profile ok, but how do i get one for the forums etc, also what are the correct dimensions? i just guessed..

Looks like that option has been removed from the forum profile settings. It was there a while back.

Mick, any ideas if it will be an option in the future?

I have no idea John, they tell me nothing. I'll find out when you do.

I can only assume this is an attempt to integrate the two profiles, and let you upload your avatar from the front page of the site for both areas. And it doesn't work yet.

They seem to be basing the site around the wrong profile, as the forum one is much more powerful.

Hi daisiemaetulip,

This is a fix we're looking at this week so you only have to upload one avatar on the site for it to work in both the galleries and the forum.

We'll keep you updated when this has been completed.
