Cheeky begger the first one in the garden, second one after he'd pulled the fat ball out off the tree at Clumber Park. Oh and Chris wrote " After all having foreign creatures like " aren't grey squirrels foreign ?

You're right! Foreign blighters - taking the jobs away from our red squirrels.

Actually, your second image seems to have a bit of red squirrel in him

As we passed there was a thud and we turned around to see one of them dusting itself off then running back up the tree - it had fallen from the branches.
HAHA poor thing...I see your avatar is a squirrel so why not post that pic here? It doesn't have to be a recent photo.

Steve, I love your 4th one...Im falling in love with the little creatures..I know they call the grey ones vermin (it's not their fault, bless them) but they are so sweet. They interbreed now apparantly so not sure where that will lead. Gred squirrels? lol

I see nature in a different light and I thank photography for that. I have never felt closer or more interested in nature.

My squirrel photos are too far away, so need to get closer to them on Friday. Watch this space.

Chris, take some peanuts in their husks with you and maybe some grapes. These were shot from a distance of around 3 metres and we attracted them using those tactics. They were shot with a 75-240mm lens at 240mm. Use an aperture of aroun f5.6.

My lens is a 70 - 300. I'm guessing I need the tripod as my hands aren't sturdy enough with that kind of zoom. Nuts (in husks) and graps......what if they are too timid??? Do I wear camouflage? How do I blend in with headstones????
