Are you lonely?

Came across this in Liverpool. I love the text and poster to the right which tells of a campaign to stop a " miserable life" Waited for people to pass by before taking the shot.

Very good!

I guess the icing on the cake would've been a single person and then suitably B/W'd to convey the pathos!

Thanks, Kurienkoshy, Mark for the comments :-)

I agree that single person would have been better, I just didnt have the time to hang around and what you can't see is the the sheer volume of traffic, I literally grabbed one second between the rush :-) I am going to go back and do some more shots, they had some great boards and phrases on walls. One was " Pensioners are people too" I did stand across from it for half an hour waiting for a pensioner to pass but will try again! :-)

I love Liverpool, the regeneration on the water front with all the museums is really fantastic! I can't wait for the open eye gallery to open, there are some great photography exhibitions arranged for November.

I only went into the centre and as far as China town but if you know any other good areas for photography it would be appreciated! :-)

Btw, red or blue? ;-)

Blue
The problem with being from Liverpool is that none of it stands out as it all just looks like home (Does that make sence) i wish more people from big cities would just stop and look once in a while.

i want to tak a shot from rock ferry (Birkenhead-ish) of the waterfront as you get a proper look. also dont forget about mathew street home of the cavern etc. and where there is a statue of elenor rigby.

My Dad is an Everton fan :-)

Thanks for the tips, we travel in from Secombe on the ferry so some city scapes are possible.
