Check out 3's One Plan - http://threestore.three.co.uk/TheOne...rch=prodsearch

I have been with Three for quite a few years and I have found them to be very good, much better 3G coverage around where I live than O2.

Chris, you're missing out on a little corner of the hobby, you can get some really cracking shots with a camera phone.

Funnily enough I hardly use my iPhone for making calls and texting, I use it mostly for the online access, apps and photos.

I hardly ever use the camera on the phone. It's fine for pics from a night out, but not much else.

As much as I love my IPhone the tariffs seem to be getting too expensive compared to some of the Android phones, my contract finishes next July so I will see what is around then. I think the have been a little naughty with not including data so my current O2 tariff would go from £35 to £42 ouch

I think the camera does look quite an improvement on the 4S but having said that I use it for non critical photos and reccy shots so my Iphone 4 is plenty good enough.

you know sometimes you can't move round photography forums for people saying 'it's the photographer, not the equipment'

Heh - and I agree - to a certain extent. But there's a reason why enthusiasts, semi pros and professional photographers aren't using camera phones

Matt,

you're blinded by pre conceptions, there are plenty of people across the whole range of experiences using iPhones for photography, have you seen some of the work on some of the iphoneography sites, or read some of the published books of iPhoneography, there's some great and very creative photography going on out there with camera phones. There are plenty of photos which would knocked some of the stuff on these here forums into a cocked hat.

There's an item on professional Photographer website about a couple of pros who used iphones to photograph a wedding. As they said: "Would you rather have a great photographer shoot your wedding with an iPhone 4, or a mediocre photographer shoot using professional gear?"
Lots of folk have used it for professional fashion photography

Anyway, I do it for a bit of fun and am very pleased with the results and can't wait to get a new phone.

Very true but by downloading various free apps for the iPhone you can have a great deal of fun.

One I particularly like is Photosynth from Microsoft. It produces some impressive panoramas from a small piece of free software.
