I think its overprocessed, but thats just my personal preference. As above, would like to see the original

Agreed

The more I looked at it, the more I have the same feeling. In the original, the sky is blown out and I was trying to add more interest.

I will have a re-think.

Instead of all the over processing why not replace the sky?

The problem with replacing the sky is that the water should reflect the sky above. If you replace the sky, the water won't match.
