Hi Sam and welcome to the forum.

Please post your images up here. We will not pull any punches, but as you say, "That's the way to learn"

Also feel free to pose any techie questions about your D7000 or techniques in general. We bounce things off one another here and that way we all benefit.

Enjoy

Hi and thanks for the welcome it's been lovely to have so many replies.....when you say to post images here for critique, do you start a new thread of is there a particular place to put them? I'm still finding my way round but it's starting to sink in I think

Hi Sam,

If you go to the main Forum menu you'll find headings for photo critiques at the end. Just choose the category you think is most appropriate and start a new thread with your images attached.

Good luck

I've seen some cracking pics from people with the D7000 and one friend in particular upgraded from a Pentax and his images are measurably better.

It's pretty easy when you know how tbh.

"If you want to post replies to multiple posts you can select them by clicking the multi quote button . This button will change to indicate that you've selected it. Clicking post reply will then bring you to the full editor with all the posts quoted."

And welcome.
