Pier Priory

Taken from the end of the
North Pier at Tynemouth, looking towards the Priory.

Hi Jimmy

Being hopeless at B&W conversions myself I can't be very constructive in my response to your image but to be honest I'm not that keen on the B&W in this instance . It looks like a fantastic place with loads going on , may be to much ? .
The sea gull at the bottom could do with being cloned out to .

Like I said it looks like a great location but this shot doesn't quite hit the mark for me .

Its a good shot jimmy, the only thing is that Gull, its bang on the line that would lead the eye in, and i find it hatd to venture past it until i had figured out what it is, the ruins look Really nice in B+W brings out the Detail, not keen on the sky though, Sorry, Nice lines and Details though

I like it, the focus following the pier rail add an effect of some sort (hard to explain)

Might not be enough contrast between the structures to make it stand out as a B&W shot.

It's a nicely balanced shot with great detail on the stonework. Shame the bland sky lets it down a bit.
