Kodak Hero 5.1

I have the Kodak Hero 5.1 I was just wondering how it scores in it's printing compared with other printers.

No idea about the Kodak Hero, but see the reviews here. For A3+ printing I have and would recommend the Epson Stylus Photo 1400, probably discontinued, the 1500W being the successor. Not cheap to run, mind you. I keep teetering on the edge of getting a continuous flow system for it. If you want to print a lot of larger than A4 prints, and just must control it yourself, it's worthwhile. I think some labs do A3 cheaper though.

It doesn't matter what it scores but rather if you like the prints it produces. If you do then why do you need to know which is the best printer?

I have seen a lot on the canon printers and they seem cheap for what they can do, I have had kodak printers
for a few years now just for genral use as the ink is cheap I am not saying I don't like the pic's that come out I just don't no if or not the prints would be that much better without seeing the results but if someone on here has moved from a kodak printer to lets say a canon mid range printer they would have the knowledge to say if the results are worth the swap I have seen recently an a3 canon priced at £160 I did not think that was to bad. As for the a continuous flow system system from what I have seen of them they are a lot cheaper to run but do suffer a lot of getting blocked although it is not a big job to clear the blockage it is a very messy affair. changing the subject a little you see so many offers now on cheep replacement inks what are your thoughts have you tried any ?
