And you could also change your mind and buy a Nikon and get yourself a good camera...

Only joking

Hi thefonz, I didn't trust the "Creditbusiness" mob in HK. Sorry you'll have to take that chance yourself. I have chosen and ordered the 60d from an Aussie seller. Still imports from HK but deals in Oz with a traceable address. Paid with Paypal of coarse. Should take delivery in about a week. With the prices being paid for my 450d it doesn't make it such a huge drain on the bank. Thanks all for your comments and advice.
Martin.

I have just bought a Canon 60d with stock 18-55mm IS lens and a 55-250 IS lens for around £800 from a company called Digigood on Ebay the kit is brand new American import shipped from Brighton in the UK so no Vat or import duty to pay also they are vat registered so I am quite pleased with my purchase as the body alone was around £800 from UK suppliers.

The only downside is that you don't get a UK warranty

Alex

Hi Alex, I avoided any import duties too and the warranty is looked after here so no sending it back to HK. I bought my Tamron 70-300 lens from America. It only took a week to reach Australia and that included the Easter weekend. Great lens too. Exchange rate's not so good now though.
Cheers.
Martin.
