Very nice Paul. Wish I lived nearer Northumberland. The sunrises over there are absolutely stunning. What was your exposure time Paul? What (if any) filter did you use?

I had a sunrise shot in my local rag lat week, well chuffed!

Thanks Jimmy, I asked the question because I thought there might have been something obvious about the photo that made it a sunrise as opposed to a sunset. Maybe the clouds were different from those at a sunset or something, so it is only knowing the location that would make it obvious. Sorry to labour the point and thanks for clearing that up.
