Mine comes from my "stall business" when I was trading at craft fairs, Highland Scenics. Back then I mainly produced prints of Highland landscapes, hence the name. Alas, it never took off, sold the odd one or two and got plenty of compliments, but selling pictures of Scotland to Scottish folk was like trying to sell Fruit juice to the Man from Del Monte.....

Anyways, I quite like as a user name, better than my old MSN one "Mental Benny".....lol

Ahhh well in my case as my name is Dave people used to call me, Wavey, Mr Wavey or even just Wave. One night I was playing a game of pool (doubles) with work colleagues which was dead competitive as always I potted three red balls with one shot (I was red by the way) a member of the other team exclaimed a rude remark in shock at which point my pool partner said "You have just been taken down by the Wavemachine".

So I have used that as a handle for forums since as generally it is not taken as a user name.
