Day/Camera bag

Hi Guys

I'm wondering if there exists such a thing as a "man bag" that has a space for a camera without needing a whole new padded bag inside. Basically I'd like a bag to carry lunch/book or whathaveyou around in but I'd like to be able to stick my camera in there too....

Any Ideas?

DaveK

well knowing what camera you intend to carry is pretty much a necessity, from a G11 to a 1D MkIII with a 600mm lens there's quite a size difference.

There are half camera bags. I use a Kata DR-465 which isn't huge and holds all my kit plus a book, water bottle etc.

But yeah, as Flake said, what camera kit is it?!

Lowepro & Crumpler make some great bags that are split in two so you can have camera kit and other gear.
Some will even take a laptop which can also be used for A4 size magazines or a coat.
This months Photo Plus has a group test on the cheaper end of the range.
but regardless of what camera you have one of the above will have something for you.
