Glastonbury tor

One Recent one from GLastonbury tor, with the Feauture i did with photoplus, using a wide angle lens, hence the distortion, But i quite like it, adds to the effect of the image, Used nik silver effex for the conv, Added some punch i think
Quite well recieved on Flikr and Google +, what you think

Dan

Quite well received you say , I should think so to it's a great shot .

The cloud formation in the sky is a perfect back drop that really adds an extra punch to the image , and the angle of the tower that would normally bug me makes the tower look like it's about to take a step towards me like some kind of stone giant .
All the technical bits light contrast and the like are all spot on as to the B & W conversion .
Now after saying all that I'm going to spoil it with a but , and that is the little person bottom left corner of the tower just to make it perfect for me I would have cloned them out .

Great shot well taken

Mark

A very powerful image Dan and potentially one of your best ever shots because it's an absolute corker!

Very dramatic shot. The sky is amazing. But if it were mine, I wouldn't remove the people. You would be losing the sense of scale.

Really dramatic, great shot.
Is silver effex a tool or a program? It has obviously worked well here and on my shot you adjusted yesterday.

Really love it Dan. High contrast shots always tweak my nerps. Not keen on the placement of the person on the left only because they are too small to see at this size of photo. May be ok on a larger version though.
