You can boost the colours by giving the picture extra saturation. (See below) Problem is, it becomes then very clear you were indeed not very steady!

Let me know when you've seen it, and I'll take it off again. You don't want to show the whole world, you do things like this when you're 'just a little tipsy!'

Another try at another picture. If I enter, it may be with this one.

Any comments?

Isn't the colour blob too small?

Reinardina, I feel it needs a larger area of colour to give it impact. Maybe the arm of the crane? (Is it yellow?)

I tried to do the 'basket,' which is yellow and would make a good centrepoint, but I cannot do it properly, I constantly stray into other areas.

To be honest, I think it's still pretty good. I reckon subtle works just as well in some situations - like this one!

Not so much being too small as he's at an awkward angle - how about selective colouring his reflection as well?

Have you enlarged the photo and tried a smaller brush?

I have and I have. At least a dozen times. Problem is, you need good eyesight, which, in my case, is sadly lacking. Eyes tire very quickly, when they have to do precision work like this.

Reinardina, how about a tighter crop, say just the crane and guy, i tried it and it looks good. Just puts the pop more into the centre of the frame in a larger quantity, if you get what i mean.
Only a thought. Nice action pic however of everyday workmen, like it.
