DFs been a bit of a bust for me this year, so failed to achieve my shot of a in-flight backlit Brown Hawker

Very good photos. You've done a great job of catching them in flight which can't be easy because they dart around a lot. Good work.

Well captured, as said above, not easy to catch these guys. Lovely blurred background keeps your eye transfixed on your subject.

If you watch Dragonflies for an hour or two, you will see that they pause in midair, every now and then, enough time to capture some shots.

This was captured today using my Nikon 400mm F2.8 AIS lens:
