I've enjoyed my time on this forum. If it closes I'll make do with the others that I'm on. But I'll be sorry to say goodbye to you guys.
Anyone who's interested CiC is a good forum with some first class tutorials and the admins and moderators are very much involved.

Im on Facebook, and i find it a great way to promote my self and my bussniess, The same for Twitter REally, Social networking is so valuable in promoting imo, I dont think the Forum will die, weve got a good set of hardcore Regulars that would keep it going, only forum ive joined, actually find this the easiest to use, lol, i think im used to its flaws,


PS: if any one does have twitter/facebook check out my links on my sig, cud always use more likes and things... hint... hint.. lol

FB's hardly a replacement for forums but neglected forums do tend to wither and die - but plenty of others around!

Even the Fb page only gets staff attention during office hours, no updates over the weekend, shud ahve mentioned this when i was out with photoplus, Same publication aint it, Diff people, but the same,

did a Help me Buy a Wide angle lens Feature... didnt really want to buy one, they needed some one at short notice, lol, Twas alryt, good day out, Nice to play with lenses,

Forums die when the takers outweigh the givers, which is rapidly happening round here.

People using it as a way to find answers without doing the research themselves, then not bothering to thank anyone who put in the efforts to help them.

People who post pics for comments but then never comment on anyone else's work

It's difficult to know how to encourage activity, but it does spiral downwards when people who give to the forum suddenly realise they've had of putting in more than they get.
