Well I thought it was excellent, Paul...... (I might quibble about the value of gradients in post-processing, compared to having Grad filters on the lens, but that's just me). Seriously, you can find all kinds of videos on YouTube covering various post-processing, but yours was one of the clearest and most concise I've seen for a long time.... so many of the videos that are made (particularly in the USA) seem to be produced by people who haven't thought about how they'll actually put it together before they start.... so it's full of mistakes, delays and "errrs" and "ummmms". Good job!

Oh, and this Forum.... it does appear that we're left pretty much to our own devices, and experts have come and gone (that's life), but I think it's one of the best around. Facebook? If a 'conversation' or thread goes quiet for a few days it's very difficult find again - I see no advantages in it at all for the user - though I suppose many commercial organisations like it because they can start a Group and walk away from it - no responsibilities at all for storage, joining, passwords or controlling members.

I"m pretty knew to this forum, and so far have really enjoyed my time here. The competitions get me using my camera on a weekly basis (if nothing else!!). I've also learnt so much from you guys. It would be a real shame if they closed it down.

I don't use Farce book myself, so at least you won't see me moaning about the site over there.

Feel pretty let down that none of the team can be bothered to respond though, they don't even talk to the mods, and let them know what's happening tbh.

Nothing has changed from the DCM days in that respect. It's a real shame IMO.

Remember when PR launched? They pitched the staff dedicated to the site, there were actually four of them. Now there is really just Marcus (Angela is shared by the site and two mags) and we never hear from him.

We could go on all day about what's wrong with PhotoRadar. We DID go on all day about it a couple of years ago when the DCMag site was cancelled in favour of this one; many valuable people have not returned. It's a photo site, yet it's so difficult to post photos. It was designed this way. When it was in beta, people asked for easier ways to post photos; those requests were ignored or denied.I'm surprised it's lasted this long, TBH.
