Mark, you wanted to do something different, and you did! I don't know the first thing about portrait photography, so I cannot comment on technical things like lighting etc.

You created a creature however, that is a bit clownesque (personal opinion of course!), striking yet sad, with a sixties hairdo that accentuates the weirdness. I like the way the lines 'cut' the face in three. A bit surreal.

Not my cup of tea, to be honest (too conservative in my taste), but I know it is widely admired, so maybe I should leave any comments to people who know more about the subject!

Shooting through wet glass isn't easy, so you have done really well to produce a cracking shot. Not keen on the lips highlights, as it makes her look unnatural, but that's a personal opinion.

I think, (only think, mind you!) Mark meant her to look unnatural.

Great shot through glass Mark. Not sure if I like it or not, certainly different. Two things:the water trails running down the glass look milky or dirty,if it was clear water I think it would be better and the model's left eye has a catch light or reflection off centre which keeps attracting my eye.
But still an accomplished piece of work.
