Upside down Amboise

Morning all

I went back to Amboise yesterday to see what sunset was like there.

Conclusion is, it's not bad. Not overwhelming but then the sky was awful. Just blue, blue and blue!

Tried something different this time. Just concentrated on the reflection. This is the first I did of it. I did put on a 10 stop to see if it would improve the reflection but honestly, it looks better with the movement from the water.

Jools

I like the concept Jools, but in execution it just looks like a photoshop "ripple" filter.

Perhaps if you had left the shot as normal, and just shown a hint of the non reflected building to give it context it may have worked better?

I know what you mean Matt. Not the greatest thing but the sky was so bland last night I experimented a little.

We've got some nice stormy skies today. If things go well, I'm off there again to see what I get!
