9 stop lots cheaper than 10 stop

I was going through my old digital camera mags and noticed in last decembers mag the recommends light crafts nd500 9 stop they said it was great. Low profile frame for wide angles £50 for the 77mm. Price is now £65 on premier ink. This is still hell of a lot cheaper than the £100 10 stop. Is it really worth the extra money for 1 stop? Images i have seen have less colour cast then lee and b&w too.

It's not worth the extra money, so go for it - I would if my lens was 77mm
