Small town inertia : Electric tears and all their portent

Started work on new projects after a protracted lay off due to broken equipment that I had to save for and replace.

Began "Sandy lane". It's a single Street contained within the larger "Market town" series. Had a wonderful afternoon earlier where I met some new people, a meet and greet session where I explain what it is I do.

These initial research sessions are never about photography, more about making new friends and contacts, feeling a way forwards with the people that will be involved, some images do usually surface though.

Really looking forwards to returning and beginning work in earnest on "Sandy lane" as the people that live there have such amazing stories, a real strength and resolve.

Going to begin a series documenting people flowing through and being aided by the local YMCA and a long term series about people dealing with the effects of epilepsy.
