Farewell Chris

I just read the first page of PhotoPlus and I am sad to see Chris is moving on. I have always liked seeing his smiling face peering out of the magazine at me. Chris, you did a great job and I hope that things will go well for you at your new gig. Hopefully you will come back now and again for a guest editorial.

Thanks for all that you did over the years and I am sure that the team you assembled will be keeping me interested (& subscribed).

I just got mine on this side of the Atlantic today. I see that as well. Who is going to dress up for holidays, etc now? I see Peter is taking over as editor and I am sure he will do a great job. However, if you look at the history of Photo Plus Editor's hairlines, I still have a shot

Yes I gathered that he may have turned to the dark side when I read about his departure and saw a Nikon mag was coming out but you never he know he may be there to infiltrate them and teach them to use auto and direct flash with every shot

Chris always made out that he was a bigger Canon user himself, so has he sold all his Cannon gear and bought Nikon gear?

Did he not have a 5D? I guess it is hard to be a Nikon evangelist with Canon gear.

He had a 7D when I was at Lacock Abbey so maybe he kept upgrading and exhausted the Canon range
