Hi David
There's a couple of things here that don't work for me I'm afraid .

With the ISO up at 3200 the images are overly saturated in noise , now I'm no expert in low light photograph but if you took manual control over your camera and lowered the ISO a bit the noise would come under control and the image as a hole would darken down so that you could tell that it was a night stage and not a dull day stage .

The other thing that you probably had no control over is the background , I know it's a time stage but there just seems to be to much clutter all over the place .

Sorry about all that but they are just my thoughts .

Mark

I`ve not a problem with the noise. I`ve shot motorsport in low ligth and it`s not easy.
But i agree with the second part of Marks comment. To much clutter.
Also the last shot. I don`t want to sound rude but why did you posted it at all.

Sorry David.

Thanks for your comments Mark and Gary.
The rally course in this event is defined by the clutter, as the same roads are used for ten different stages.
As for images 2 and 4 I think they catch something of the atmosphere of the event a sort of 'rain steam and speed' if you like.
