Thumbs up Free Video Tutorials

Although not Photoshop/Lightroom/Elements specific - I have discovered another great series of Free Video Tutorials - by James Talkington - on the Prophotolife.com Blog - excellent production and with many infomative little tips - often overlooked by we amateur photographers when carrying out our common hobby - check them out - you wont be disappointed.

Very expansive - huh - and all for FREE Well done Mr Talkington and all your production team - Thank You

Hope you weren't disappointed - unlike me - why? - because there have been no further Free Video Tutorial links added here since my last visit

Come on folks - don't keep these "professional" treasures to yourselves - post them here - let's all benifit.

How about PhotoKaboom. The guy who runs it is a New York Uni Professor. Even though the site is basic, the explanations are easy for us 'starters'.

Had a brief look at the suggested site - great content - but unfortunately a bit short on VIDEOS - I may be wrong - but as I said certainly a great educational site - and well worth more than a 2nd look - here is a link

But I am the lazy sort - prefer videos than having to read through all those words and diagrams.

But the site will interest many people - it appears to be photographically extremely educational.

PS Well discovered suzyg - thanks for sharing - have a Merry Christmas too.

Thumbs up Free Video Tutorials

Just back in the UK - no new additions made to this thread in my absence - but glad to see many are still linking to the same - and hopefully benefitting from their content - so here is another great site - for FREE VIDEO TUTORIALS in both Lightroom and Photoshop - very well presented by Michael Rather in his "The Digital Photography Connection" site - check it out folks - well worth a look.

Many thanks to Michael and his team for a great site.

Anybody out there - find any more FREE VIDEO TUTORIALS - if so - post their links here - so we can all benefit.

Thumbs up Free Video Tutorials

Courtesy of being pointed in the right direction in another thread - regarding an HDR discussion - again an old friend - Matt Kloskowski has teamed up with producer/photographer Scott Kelby - of KelbyTV - and produced more Free Video Tutorials - remember his Killer Tips for Lightroom videos pointed out earlier.

Well try these out - you wont be disappointed.

Very well presented - not particularly Adobe Photoshop/Elements/Lightroom specific - but another excellent source of more Free Video Tutorials to assist photographers of all levels.

Find any more folks ? - If so - Why not post their links here.

Thumbs up Free Video Tutorials

Are you keeping all your finds of the FREE VIDEO TUTORIALS to yourselves?

Well don't - post them here for all to benefit - as I have been doing.

This next discovery may not be for the purist photographers - but for the innovative photographer/graphic designers out there - this next gem is well worth a gander - so why not check out Bert Monroy's excellent (160 Episodes) on PixelPerfect.com - and "play away" in Photoshop till your heart's content.

Unfortunately Bert has moved on and episode 160 would appear to be his last for some time - but the complete 160 episodes are going to remain - for a little while anyway - so have a look - before they disappear - you wont be disappointed.

So happy viewing - and if you find any other FREE VIDEO TUTORIALS out there on the net - why not post them here.

We all want to LEARN these Photoshop secrets - Don't let the professionals and geaks monopolise all the KNOWLEDGE

Indeed you have Amy - and I did recognise this and indeed highly recommended them in my initial post when starting this thread - but could not post a link to same at that time - but do so now - thanks to your above link.

One thing I personally found a tad irkesome, however, was that MOST of these videos had been given out as CD magazine cover disks - which I collected faithfully when I subscribed to DCM - but none the less I found them of great use - in the main - and for those able to view same - I am sure they will find them of great benefit too.

Also it has to be noted that there are still a few people who cannot view these good and informative videos on their systems - the reason for this baffles me - as it no doubt baffles you and your software engineers.

But thank you Amy for your interest in promoting these FREE VIDEO TUTORIALS yet again - another fine example of what is out there in the worl wide web.
