Nikon vs Sigma wide angle

Im trying to decide which lens to buy for my D90.
I've got it down to:
Nikon AFS DX 12-24mm f4 (£600 used)
Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 EX DC HSM
Nikon AF 24-85mm f2.8-4D

I'm quite eager to try a wideangle but would also like a lens with day-to-day functionality which is why i've thrown in the 24-85mm.

Any ideas?

£600 is my max budget

The Nikon 12-24mm is a cracking lens but quite expensive. On a D90 it becomes a 18-30mm.
The sigma 10-20mm is also a cracking lens and praised by all who use it. On a D90 its 15-25mm and it's cheaper.

The Sigma 10-20, is a really great lens. You can buy this and still have about £250 left from your £600 budget

I haver the sigma which is great but don't forget the Tokina AT-X 124 AF PRO DX similar in price to the sigma but much sharper. Then use the £250 to buy a tamron 17-50mm f2.8 very good lens and sharper than the stabilisation version which is £350.You don't really need it on such a fast lens at the zoom reach.

Join the club, the tamron is on my wishlist! Your first big decision was the right one you bought a Nikon camera!

Sorry got the wrong tokina its the Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 AT-X read the review below, its £500 though. Check out Jimmy http://www.photoradar.com/forums/member.php?u=137768 he is a regular on the forums i'm sure he uses the Tokina. But if you really want the tamron 17-50 go with the sigma 10-20 you get the both for your £600 budget and i'm sure you will be chuffed to bits.
