I hope you're going to update us with everything that occurs with sigma & the lens? It's only fair, after 3 months of advice

I now miss my lens. I can't be without it.

Sorry I had to say it.

You could try Bryan Petersen's book Understanding Exposure. It's very good indeed as a starting point for learning what to do in Manual.

Sorry but I've already tried focusing in Manual mode and it doesn't make a difference. Can't use the lens because its at the manufacturer.

That's a feeble excuse.

I sent the lens away two weeks before xmas. Haven't heard anything from them yet. So going to email them tomorrow and see whats happening with my lens.

I truthfully miss the lens now.

Received a reply saying they were unable to fix it so they have sent it to Japan.

NOT happy now. But at least its getting repaired.

Finally received my lens late this afternoon as it was nearly dark.

Shame I can't go out with it since I'm on sick leave

Been testing it in poor light in the house. Got bad results. But I guess it needs good light. Just hope its only a light issue and there's nothing wrong with the lens. Or I'll just get mad about it.
