I agree on Matthew's shot too. The glass is there and the candle holder looks like a frosted glass to me too. Perfectly acceptable.

Sunset Celebration

Okay boys and girls, I've set the ball rolling: the first entry is in.

I took a series of shots on our terrace yesterday as the sun was going down, trying to catch the sparkle. Did other things as well and, as per usual these days, I may change my mind yet.

Oh, it should be! Haven't opened it yet though; can't ake photographs while handling glasses of wine. Have problems focusing as it is.

I'll keep it for a special occasion, like winning this comp! (Only joking of course.)

Its a great shot
I'd go along with that, Mark. It would be a pity to exclude that shot.

Hope Matthew has a chance to enter it officially.

Thanks a lot, Mark. Yes, it does help!

I appreciate you taking the time to offer those tips.

It's one reason this site takes up so much time these days... so many people willing to offer constructive criticism and loads of good advice.

Thanks again.

How do the clocks on this site work?

When I'm logged in, the above message was posted at 12.34 o'clock, but when I log out it jumps back an hour to 11.34?
