Ok guys, here's my first attempt taken yesterday. I have only adjusted a colour cast caused by my ND filter to keep the detail in the sky, a little straightening and a curves adjustment.

I have not cloned out the cables that cross the scene as I have processed this on Elements 8 and would use CS5 if I were to do that.

This is another take on the same subject but processed in HDR so not eligible for this comp.

Woo hooo, you are 1st. I think the motion blur is lost as it blends in with the sky so its hard to see (at least it is on my little netbook). The white would have looked a lot more prominant against a bright blue sky. Why not try again when there's a bluer sky (if you can of course)? I must say though, I really like the second one!

The sky was blue when I set out. By the time I got there, well you can see what it was like, and after about a dozen shots it started raining.

May go with something like this. Taken at the weekend, Showground attraction.
Direct from the camera as requested.

Thought id drop in an attempt, Its not very good, but ill show it anyway, friday i was out shooting for an editor,
And come across the moris club at the Brewry, they invited em to have a look at the cars, and this was when they drove away,

didnt have time to Experiment, didnt even have time to meter, just dialed in what i thought wud be right,

Definately like the idea of the mothly comp, makes it easier to enter i think,

Perfect for the theme, but taken before it was announced. Great shot.

I think this is a fantastic example of what the theme suggests. It was taken within timescale, and is a worthy entry. I can'tsuggest how it can be improved due to my lack of real technical knowledge, but maybe a boost to make the colours pop a little more to add to the showground feel? (then again my screen can't be relied togive a true photo as the size and resolution is crappy). What do you guys out there think?

With the weekly comp, you are limited with the time to get an entry. Once you decide on the one to enter, you can change your mind but not ask others for commentsor advice, that comes at the end. With this, we give critique as we go so the final entry should be spot on, harder to judge and of a superb quality. It's more to learn than to win and is no way in competition with the weekend comp. I love the weekend comp for the fun value and it gets me out there shooting, but this is slower, controlled and more serious than fun (to me anyway)
