Old Pics - Pre DSLR Days

Hi,

Here are a few very old pics I took on a Canon G5, I think it was around 2004.

Skogafoss, Iceland

Dover Beach, Barbados

Hallgrimskirkja Iceland

Cheers for looking,

Dave

Dave

Not a great fan of the angle in number 1
Great sun set in number 2 but I would crop down further towards the sun
Love the way the building sweeps in and up in number 3 great shot

Let me ask you something , how do you think you have come on in the last 7 years .

Mark

Cheers for the comments. I see that the first is not to everyones taste but I kind of like it!

Back in those days I had the camera on auto and just let it do the work, I didn't understand aperture or shutter speed so I didn't know how to create the photos I wanted. It was frustrating. Over time you learn and are able to create the photo you see in your minds eye.

I still have a long way to go and I'm always learning, my 60D is the most serious bit of kit I have ever owned and has allowed me to take better pictures in lower light which before I have never been able to do.
