Renault World Series

I went to this free event at Silverstone this weekend - action from 09.30 thru to about 18.30, well worth it to practice your motorsport.

I managed to take over 3,000 shots, these are a few from the first 50 processed this evening.

1. Robert Wickens, Team Carlin, Formula Renault 3.5

2. Jordan King, Manor Competition, Formula Renault 2.0

3. Eftihios Ellinas, Aztech Reid GP, Formula Renault 2.0

4. Josh Hill, Manor Competition, Formula Renault 2.0

5.Stephane Richelmi, International Draco Racing, Formula Renault 3.5

Nice shots there Cathus. I wanted to go this year but unfortunately I was working. Looks like a good weekend though.

Thanks,

always a good day out, especially as it's free. Weather wasn't great but at least it was dry and there was some sun during the day.

I was working last year so spent about 40 mins trying to find the location I'd shot at 2 years ago only to realise they've changed the track layout, looks completely different now.

Yes, I'm sure they did that just to confuse people. I must admit I like the track changes but find the area by the podium a bit sterile. I think they are going to change that tough, when they've got a bit more money.

A good set. I like image 5. Like the crop.
Shame about the man in orange, but that can`t be helped. There seems to always be a marshal in my motorsport images as well.

thanks Gary, funny how you never notice some things in your own shots until someone points it out

I love shots 2 and 4. I like the close ups. Great job with your shutter speed and stopping the action. Nice work!
