Nikon cameras have time-lapse ...!

Ok, if you have a Nikon this will not be a surprise, but bumped into a guy down the beach this morning (stop it ... he was a fellow photographer ...) and he was doing a time-lapse with his Nikon - a feature that's built in he tells me. What a cool feature. He mainly uses it for astrophotography.

Don't know which model that he was using Paul but I haven't found it on my D80 or D90.

The self-timer on the D7000 can take up to 9 shots with a max 3 sec delay between shots. It's possible that he has a digital remote that you can use for interval timing shots, such as: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Timer-Remo...ht_3817wt_1139

I imagine that you can get them for most cameras...
