You must have been there at the same time as me. I was at the camp site which would be about 1/3rd of a mile directly to the right of this shot.

A very moody sky (there weren't many blue skies in the 13 days I was there).

Knowing this perspective, I think I'd have preferred moving the composition slightly right to get in the other structure of the castle and less grass bank.

I wonder whether the very strong lean-in lines of the track would be more powerful if they led round the corner towards the castle rather than towards the cliffs?

it's from the Newton end, the Dunstanburgh golf course is just out of picture on the right of the track

Nice composition, but if it's HDR it's a little over cooked, if it's not HDR then it's a little too heavy on the contrast in my view
