Angry A bargain ?
Looked into Currys today and spotted a Tamron lens 18-200 for sale 129 notes. Bought it on the offchance. Even Jacobs are charging 189 notes for it. Gets a reasonable write up on Photozone. Also bought a remote control from Jacobs Hahnel, well I never encountered such poor instructions. Needless to say no joy when I set it up. It took me some time to figure it out, The ****** battery needed to be wiped to clean the terminals

Which camera will you use the lens on and do you know what f size it is?

I would be interested in one like this for a D40.

At this price these lens went like hot cakes. I think they were downpriced to clear the way for an upgrade of this lens. The original price was 439 quid.
