3 -PTSD ( Post traumatic stress disorder )-themed picture , my husband suffers from PTSD , so thought i make some kind of ,,awareness shot''The idea behind this photo was one visit to a doctor ( family one ) and as he doesn’t know how to handle , or help for that matter –he said ,, PTSD is only in your head’’- and that made us really angry ( well husband wanted to strangle our GP)

Hi Ariana

You may be new to DSLR photography but you can't be new to photography in general because these are very nice portraits . I love the one of the young lad the best there is just something about the look on his face that drawers me in to the image , number 5 is the weakest one for me but that might just be down to the lack of contrast .

I hope your husband managed to keep his hands of your GP for his sake but totally understandable .

Mark

Hi Mark ,
Im a beginner in photography in general , as ive never paid attention in what im doing , just a small hobby of mine ( and thise samples are i think the best ive ever managed to do - ordinary ones are on the web site
on picture no 4 its not a lad its a girl but your confusion can be understandable ,as there is a lot of shadows
Thank you so much for your reply ,
well , my husband managed to keep himself in a chair - but it was me who went a bit ballistic on a GP

Paul - thank you , im very flattered , still trying to find my way around this forum

Great portraits. Every photo tells a different story. I love the eyes and the catchlights in the first. I'm not sure about the last, I think it would work better with more contrast. Nice work.

The first and forth are cracking shots, so well done.

As for PTSD it doesn't exist according to the MoD, as if it did they would have to pay out!
