Late night beeches

Just before I crawl into bed, here is one of my favourite places that I go back to again and again. Kingston Lacy in Dorset with its famous beech avenue.

A spot meter reading was taken from the bark of the trees for a mid-tone.

Oh, and folks. This road is DANGEROUS, so if you ever want to attempt this type of shot from the middle of the road, just take a couple of friends as look-outs.

Another great shot Jools. Its got an old English countryside feel to it. I can almost hear the skylarks broken only by the sound of a cuckoo. Lovely, warm tones throughout the image.

The only thing that is niggling me is the first sun cast on the road. It just interrupts my eye from traveling along the road unabated. I definitely want to walk down their though and find out where it goes!
