Question best walkabout for d3100
At work three of us have d3100 which leads to discussions ref best walkabout lens, between us we have Nikon 18-200, Nikon 18-70, and Sigma 17-70 HSM OS
Apart from the reach of the 18-200 any views on which is the best

If your looking for a good all rounder or walkabout lens for a Nikon then I don't think you can get better than the Nikon 18-200 ( I don't think you can ignore the extra reach ) , I have the Sigma 18-250 and believe me I wish I had paid the extra £200 for the Nikon .
