A3 mounted print price

I would like to know what you would charge for mounted prints in both a3 and a4. I was thinking on the lines of A4 = £25, A3=£30. Does this sound about right?

id say around 40, what mine are set at, and the people i produce for also havve them set at 40 ish for A3's, Although locally an a3 framed print will only set you back a tenner, As weve said in theother thread, its all down to what you want for your pictures, if you feel 30 is enough and your happy with the amount youll make, but if you could make more, why not eh,

Errrr not to sure, i now people who sell for a tenner sell a lot, but then the quality isnt as good, and its more of a snapshoty type thing, whereas i try for quality and put a lot of time in therefore i would prefer a fairer price, People will buy them at a high price, or people wouldnt price them as such, just weather its worth the money,

I wouldn't entertain £10 but if sell at £30 not £40 increases the sales enough then it worth doing. I'm also not sure whether to mount or not.

Imo always mount, Many people buying dont now what to do with them, so itl be better to mount, and even offer frames youve selected at a cost, Factor mounting into the cost, if your posting fee P+p is always good too,

Always a difficult call.
The rule in artistic retail is; "If something doesn't sell. Put the price up."
I don't know why, but it definately works. My wife is a painter and some of her stuff can sit in a gallery for months with no interest - we double the price and they start selling like hot cakes.
I think you've just got to test the water and think more about where you're selling, and to whom.
